Privacy policy
PAUSE is designed to keep sensitive wellbeing content on your device. This policy explains the small amount of data used by the website and optional purchases.
Data stored by the iOS app
Your warning signal, plan, prepared sentences, feelings, reflections and session history are stored locally with iOS file protection. PAUSE v1.0 has no account or cloud sync for this content. Deleting local PAUSE data in the app removes it from the device.
Purchases
If you purchase PAUSE Pro, Apple processes the payment and RevenueCat processes the technical purchase status needed to unlock or restore Pro. They do not receive the content of your resets. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies.
Optional installation-based product analytics in the iOS app
PAUSE does not start PostHog product analytics unless you explicitly turn it on in the app. If enabled, PostHog receives persistent random installation and device identifiers plus coarse interaction data such as onboarding steps viewed or completed, buttons used, reset phase, elapsed time and whether the app moved to the background. This data is pseudonymous, not strictly anonymous. PAUSE does not send your warning signal, plan, prepared sentences, feelings, reflections, session notes or other free text to PostHog. Person profiles and session replay are disabled.
This information is processed in PostHog's European Union region and retained for 30 days. It is used only to improve the product. It is not used for advertising, sold, or used to track you across other companies' apps and websites.
Optional product analytics is off by default. You can turn it on or off at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy & Legal. Turning it off stops future collection and removes locally queued analytics plus the PostHog installation identifier from your device. Events already uploaded to PostHog are deleted within the 30-day retention period. Choosing “Delete all local data” in PAUSE also turns analytics off and performs the same local cleanup.
Waitlist
If you join the website waitlist, PAUSE stores your email address, whether you requested TestFlight access, your browser locale and which first-party form you used. This is used only to send the launch or beta message you requested. The lawful basis is your consent.
The waitlist is stored with Supabase in the European Union. It is not sold, used for advertising or combined with analytics data. You can withdraw consent or request deletion by replying to a PAUSE email.
Support messages
If you contact PAUSE support, your email address and the information you include are used to respond, investigate problems and keep the service safe. The support form prepares a message in your email app; it does not submit or store the message on this website. Please do not include sensitive health information, passwords or payment details.
Support correspondence is retained only while it is reasonably needed to resolve the request, maintain necessary business records or meet legal obligations. It is not used for advertising or sold.
Website and analytics
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views in aggregate. It is cookieless, does not track you across other sites, and does not build a profile of you or your device — it cannot be used to identify who visited. The website does not use advertising cookies, behavioral analytics or cross-site tracking. Basic infrastructure logs may be processed temporarily by the hosting and database providers to operate and secure the service.
Retention and your rights
Optional installation-based app analytics events are retained for no more than 30 days. Waitlist records are deleted after the launch communication and any necessary follow-up period. Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or withdrawal of consent. Contact service@cg-applications.com or use the PAUSE support page.
Children and safety
PAUSE is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect children’s information. PAUSE is a self-regulation and decision-support tool, not therapy, medical treatment or an emergency service.
